My name is David Walker, the Director of Affiliate Dragon Limited and I make my living off the internet.

Breaking Free of Full-Time Employment

Working for myself is always something I wanted to do and I had dabbled in various website ventures since 1997 alongside my time in university and then full-time employment.

Just like how many people start off, I was making a nice sideline with my online projects and over time, the income grew bigger and bigger. Then, in 2006, my online earnings far exceeded what I was earning in my full time job and if I’m honest, the “job” was getting in the way.

March 2006 saw me finally free myself of the shackles of a 9-5 job and I haven’t looked back since. I now earn more money than I ever could in a “real job” at this stage of my life (28) and I am living a relatively stress free life, working from home. No long commutes, no getting shafted at the petrol pumps, no ridiculous work colleagues, office politics and no idiot boss telling me what to do.

Why Affiliate Dragon?

The income that enabled me to leave my full time employment was through affiliate marketing, especially bookmaker commissions and other gambling related products.

I am also adept at creating websites which can be monetised through affiliate products and advertising and so decided to sell ready-made website businesses on eBay under the username fulltimeonline. As part of the package I also teach my customers the same marketing, promotional and traffic generating techniques I use to make money from my own websites every day.

The Dragon part, well, I am from Wales so the dragon is quite symbolic, plus I think the name “Affiliate Dragon” is quite memorable and brandable.

Helping Existing Businesses With Their Web Marketing

I am always keen to diversify my business and now offer web promotion and online marketing consultancy to local companies whose websites are not generating the new leads and business they should be!

And so that brings us to this website, AffiliateDragon.com. As well as a portal to advertise my existing website businesses for sale and consultancy services, in time I want it to grow into a definitive resource for people who want to improve their internet marketing skills and boost their online earnings.

I am adding new articles covering areas such as online business, internet marketing, affiliate marketing and doing business on eBay on a daily basis, all of which draw upon my own experiences in these areas.

Plus, I also have a blog section, which includes updates on what I am doing personally, both online and off and will give details of what events, seminars etc I will be appearing at if you want to say hello.
