Services

I offer consultancy and implementation for companies and small businesses whose website is not ranking well in the search engines and is not achieving what it was set up to do.

If your website is not showing up on the first page of the major search engines for keywords or phrases relevant to your business then you need me!

Stage One - Analysis

Initially, I will undertake the following analysis and work on your website:

Website Analysis
I will checking your website’s current structure and determine whether all of the pages can be crawled by the search engine spiders for inclusion in the search results.

Meta Tag Editing
I will ensure relevant keywords and phrases are inserted into the Title, Description and Keyword tags on each page in your website.

Sitewide Content Editing
I will go through each page on your website and edit or add relevant keywords and phrases throughout to make it more relevant to the search engines.

Stage Two - Marketing

After your website has received it’s “tune up”, we can then decide on a marketing and promotion campaign which will see your website improve its position in the search engines over time. Such as:

Content Creation
Fresh, updated content plays a vital role in a search engine optimisation campaign. The more relevant, keyword rich content you have on your website, the more likely a customer will be able to find you via the search engines. A blog would be an ideal way to add new content regularly and also keep your customers informed of the latest developments in your company.

Viral Marketing
This is similar to content creation but taken to the next level. Together we will come up with an article which focuses on a “buzz” element in your industry. The focus of this article will be an attention grabbing headline and content rather than keyword driven content. The purpose of this type of article is to encourage people to discuss and link to it on their own websites, blogs and forums and to share it with others via social media websites such as Digg and Stumbleupon.

A good article of this type is known in the industry as “link bait” and could generate hundreds, or even thousands of backlinks to your website as well as driving thousands of new visitors (and potential customers!) your way. If we are really fortunate the article could even get linked to on authority websites such as the BBC. This method essentially gives you potentially thousands of pounds worth of “free” links and advertising which will help your website with its long-term position in the search engines.

Article Marketing
Article marketing is a tried and tested method of building natural backlinks to your website. Original content relevant to your industry will be written and submitted to high quality, hand picked article directory websites which will then publish the content and a link back to your website.

Better still, these articles may then be picked up from the directories and published on other people’s websites and blogs, who will also add a backlink to your website.

Directory Submission
Submitting your website to online directories is another method of building a collection of relevant backlinks. I will hand submit your website to high quality directories for maximum effect.
